Where the Old-fashioned Gospel shines a ray of new hope.

We are a Christ-centered, Biblical, Baptist Church. We believe:

Ø All that we can know about God is in the Bible

Ø The Bible is the inspired (“God-breathed”) word of God

Ø The Bible only is God’s written revelation to man

Ø In the Triune God: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit

Ø God is Holy, Love, Righteous, Just, Merciful

Ø God created the heaven and the earth and all life

Ø Satan is an angel who led other angels in rebellion against God.

Ø Man and woman were created in the image of God.

Ø Man, in his original state was sinless and innocent.

Ø Satan, in his continuing rebellion against God, convinced Adam and Eve to disobey and therefore, sin against God.

Ø That through Adam’s transgression, sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so all men die, because all have sinned.

Ø “Death” includes both physical (bodily), and spiritual (soul).

Ø The soul (personality, intellect, emotions, and will) in man begins at conception and consciously exists eternally.

Ø The soul departs the body at death and immediately goes either into eternal happiness in the presence of God or into eternal torment in hell.

Ø The only way into God’s presence is through Jesus Christ.

Ø Jesus Christ, being in the “form of God”, and “equal with God” took upon Him the form of a man and came into this world.

Ø Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of a virgin.

Ø That Jesus, being Himself without sin, and living a perfect sinless life, “bare our sins in His own body”, the just suffering for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh”.

Ø That on the third day, Christ rose from the dead, having conquered death thereby assuring eternal life to all those who put their trust in Him.

Ø That only the blood of Christ cleanses our soul of sin.

Ø The Bible way of salvation is “repentance (confessing and forsaking sin) toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Ø That the saved will suddenly be caught-up ("raptured") into heaven and receive “glorified” (perfect bodies).

Ø That those who are not saved will be left on earth to suffer through a period of seven years of war, disease, famine, and torment under the rule of the anti-Christ (known as the "tribulation").

Ø That Jesus will return with those previously caught-up to rule on earth from His throne in Jerusalem for 1,000 years of peace on earth.

Ø That after a final rebellion by Satan and his followers, the present earth and heavens will be destroyed and new ones created where all the saved will live in eternal bliss in the presence of God for all eternity.

That God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Salvation is offered freely to all men, but only those who accept God’s gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ will be saved.
